ONGOING
Online publication part 2:

Artist Ingrid Lønningdal has been commissioned to contribute to the upcoming publication of COMMON LANDS - Allmannaretten. She has been looking into different aspects of social diversity in the future Bjørvika. In her project The Bjørvika Structure in the Studio she has approached developers, owners and politicians that are involved in the development of this area. With a starting point in the master plan, she has invited the stakeholders to partake in an enquete on social diversity. The different styles of language, values and approaches towards this proposal become modes of representation and a path into the city development process of Oslo.

The project Living in Bjørvika by Geir Tore Holm and Søssa Jørgensen was presented in Bjørvika during April 9 - 18th.

We should have asylum seekers; poor people should have flats in the area. This is reclaimed land, where the gypsies, the sailors, the addicts, the whores, the truck-drivers have been. All operate on the outskirts of society. The Opera is taking back this area and is giving it to the bourgeoisie.

We can imagine the uproar. How can we destroy the purity of planning? Can we conceive of another kind of future? Other perspectives? (from the script for 'Speculation')

As a second stage of their project One fine day, all this will be yours. Dellbrügge & de Moll published a libretto, staging agonistic encounters on common lands. The libretto was presented and presented as a gift on April 23rd at Den Norske Opera og Ballett.
